Question?

I've kind of made it a tradition to re-read The Agony and the Ecstasy at least every other year. Do you think I should keep this up? I know that I could be learning more from another book on Michelangelo, but am I actually wasting time by re-reading? Or am I just solidifying my knowledge in a memoriable, historical-fiction way?

I'm not a big book re-reader, but I have re-read The Agony and the Ecstacy. I think it's all about what you're looking to get out of the book... I re-read the book because I enjoyed the story and thought it was well written. I know it was well researched, but I don't know if it's necessarily the authority on Michelangelo. If you're looking to get a solid understanding of Michelangelo I'd say start reading some other sources, but if you want to be walked through Italy during the time of Michaelangelo, keep re-reading this one!

=) That's why I love it. You feel like you're taking the journey with him.
